About Milton E. Winslow, P.L.S.
As a surveyor, Milton served in the SeaBees (Navy Construction Branch) during the Vietnam War era, stationed in Guam, as well as Vietnam. After that, he worked in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, doing a wide variety of surveying and field engineering duties.
Milton obtained his South Carolina Professional Land Surveyor license in 1980. Over the years some of Milton's work has
included performing boundary and lot surveys, subdivision layouts, construction surveys, photogrametry, deed research and drafting; Project Engineer for a five mile canal; and Field Engineer for bridge construction and airports.
Besides running his Surveying business, Milton is presently employed at Santee Cooper as a Senior Surveyor.
In the 24 years he has worked there, they have encouraged him to continue his education and training.
He's been allowed to attend numerous seminars and conferences that have helped him keep up on the latest technologies
and methods.
Milton has surveyed his entire adult life. After graduating from Old Dominion University (Norfolk, Virginia) in 1969 with an Associate Degree in Land Surveying, Milton surveyed for the North Carolina Highway Department.
